At the Empower Women’s Group we provide a number of courses, workshops and classes to help marginalized and excluded women. All of the lessons we teach are to improve wellbeing and advance the skills of women in the community. Also, we hope to foster friendship and relationships between people. We want to remove barriers, so women feel attached and have a connection to the communities they live in.

With our life skills courses, our objective is to help women, help themselves. Applying for a job, learning a new skill or studying a new language is hard enough. It is even harder if you are doing it in a foreign country with little support. Our classes give women the relevant knowledge and guidance if they are looking for employment, want to use a computer or require assistance with day to day activities.

Learning English is a great way for excluded women to become more integrated into their communities – however learning a new language can be intimidating and scary. Our classes teach all levels and we have a supportive, welcoming atmosphere to really encourage students.
Recent requirements dictate that people who are cooking for members of the public, or those looking to work in the food sector – need certifications to ensure that certain food standards are adhered to. Our classes are designed for these two groups and we can help you, if you are looking to be certified.
